Using ArmyIgnitED or CA to Fund Your FAA A&P Prep Course
If you're an active-duty Army Soldier or qualifying Reserve/Guard member, you may be able to use Army Credentialing Assistance (CA) through ArmyIgnitED to fund your FAA A&P prep course at Matta Aviation Services. Here's how the process works.
What is Army Credentialing Assistance (CA)?
Army Credentialing Assistance (CA) is a program that funds Soldiers in obtaining industry-recognized civilian credentials and certifications that relate to their military occupational specialty (MOS) or career goals. The FAA A&P mechanic certificate is a recognized civilian credential for many Army aviation-related MOS fields.
ArmyIgnitED is the Army's online platform for requesting and managing education and credentialing assistance benefits. Active-duty soldiers access CA through the ArmyIgnitED portal.
